BeeKeeping Courses

Native Appalachian nectar from Tulip Poplar, Black Locust, Clover, and other Wildflowers helps to create some of the best honey we’ve ever tasted!  Sold from 10z - 1 Gallon.  Available seasonally, and with availability.

Packaged Bees include our favorite Carniolan breed of honey bee, with a Mated Queen, and 2-5 frames of bees, brood, honey, and pollen.  Check back often for availability.  Unfortunately there is no guarantee on live bees.

Come learn with us as we present hands-on courses where we discuss the lifecycle of the honey bee, how honey is produced, and how to keep a thriving colony, without the use of pesticides, chemicals, and special treatments.  The only thing you need to bring is a positive attitude, and a suit.

Swarm Removals

Yes!  We remove bee swarms!  During the spring and summer months, bees are very prone to swarming. In fact, it’s how they propagate and grow their populations.  We provide free removal services within a 10 mile range, and then hourly rates for any intrusive removals.  Contact us for a quote!

Who are we?!

We have over 10 years of beekeeping experience, specializing in methods and traditions stemming from Hungary and the United States.

We believe that having the right bee species for the region is critical to the sustainability and proliferation of the bee population.  We try to use only native born/bred bees, and use only “organic” methodology in our bee husbandry.  This includes no smoke, unless required, no pesticides or chemicals in treating for mites/diseases, and only non-invasive trapping of hive pests.
