No pesticides here! In fact, we rarely, if ever, smoke the hives when working with them. No oxalic acid, vapors, fumigation, gel, or anything else is placed into our hives. This ensures our honey is as pure as you’d expect it to be…and our bees are much healthier!
Our colonies are carefully monitored to ensure they are healthy and that the queen is living up to her full potential. Additionally, we use non-standardized practices such as elevated hives, and even techniques and hive types brought from Hungary!

Packaged Bees include our favorite Carniolan breed of honey bee, with a Mated Queen, and 2-5 frames of bees, brood, honey, and pollen. Check back often for availability. Unfortunately there is no guarantee on live bees.
Come learn with us as we present hands-on courses where we discuss the lifecycle of the honey bee, how honey is produced, and how to keep a thriving colony, without the use of pesticides, chemicals, and special treatments. The only thing you need to bring is a positive attitude, and a suit.
